The Visionary Behind TrooRa: Meet Trystanne Cunningham.

Born and raised in Haiti, in the heart of the Caribbean, Trystanne Cunningham’s journey is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and purpose. With French as her first language and a childhood shaped by her father’s role as Haiti’s ambassador to Washington D.C. and Mexico, Trystanne’s early life was steeped in global culture and exploration. Her travels introduced her to the transformative power of magazines, as she often found herself captivated by the newsstands at airports. These magazines offered her a visual gateway to worlds she couldn’t access growing up in Haiti—sparking a lifelong love for storytelling and imagery.

As the Founder, Creative Director, and Executive Editor-in-Chief of TrooRa Magazine, Trystanne has channeled that childhood inspiration into a groundbreaking platform. Despite not having formal training in publishing, she self-taught herself through research, determination, and a deep commitment to excellence. TrooRa is now a stunning coffee table-style magazine that blends unparalleled visual beauty with authentic, inspiring stories, designed to compete with renowned publications like Vogue and Architectural Digest.
